The list station at the bottom of Wakefield Road is at the end of its life and needs to be replaced. Much of the new lift station is housed underground and will also have an enclosed back up generator on site.

The lift station is nearly complete and the beach access will be back open for use in summer 2025. Thank you to the community and nearby residents for their patience and understanding. Being so close to sea level, this was a tricky project.
